Rates

The cost of care rate varies depending upon how many hours of service are requested, and the level of care needed. Commonly the rates are:

• $18.00 per hour for private pay.
• 12 hours overnight shift, $195.00  private pay ($16.25 per hour) .
• $19.00 per hour for required CNA, as in the case of some long-term care insurance companies or Veterans reimbursement with additional administration and recordkeeping.
• Second person, such as spouse of other family member living in home, generally are no additional cost, but subject to negotiation and review depending upon the level of care and complexity of caregiving 2 people.

In Home Evaluation

There is no charge for a home visit that includes assessing your caregiving needs.
